I'm excited to announce that I will be launching an online course/lecture series on writing your own novel in the near future. I have learned so much, and I am continuing to learn many cool and amazing things about story craft, and I want to share those lessons with you, so that you, too, can start your own book.
People keep asking me 'why,' then tell me that if I don't have "a big enough why" I shouldn't be writing. I just have one question... Why? If my reason for writing a book is "because I want to," what's wrong with that? Where is it fact that your opinion of my need, want or desire to write are or are not "good enough"? The intensity of my reason, I suppose, may affect how long it may take me, but ...
